The craft
Seven centuries of cobalt on clay
Each piece begins as a dough of quartz, Multani mitti, and recycled glass. The kamgar shapes it, paints the Gila-Lazwart cobalt by brush, and the kiln sets it for life. No two pieces leave the workshop alike.
